Catherine J. Vrencur

Adult Yoga

Catherine J. Vrencur (RYT 200) earned her Power Vinyasa Yoga Certification from Power Yoga Works, and her Thai-Yoga Assisted Asana Training from the Vedic Conservatory. Catherine’s Yoga practice began in 2002 when she found herself overwhelmed by the lack of balance between everyday life, family, career, fitness and sleep. After following the recommendation of a friend (whom she admired for remaining unruffled in a stressful work environment), Catherine experienced her first heated, Power Vinyasa Yoga class and loved it! She was amazed that Yoga could provide an intense workout similar to that of her former Martial Arts training. Moreover, she walked out of that class sweaty and smiling with rejuvenation and a newly found focus. Catherine currently teaches all-level Yoga classes (including: power, flow, family & chair). She enjoys incorporating her Yoga disciplines into a challenging and invigorating practice. She offers variations to either lighten or deepen a pose and provides assists as needed to ensure proper alignment. Catherine is a firm believer in sharing the benefits of her Yoga training with others, and wants everyone to walk away from their practice feeling empowered.

It is a privilege and an honor for Catherine to teach Yoga. And, she believes the best way she can thank all of her Instructors over the years is to give back what she has received. “Experience a Class for Yourself, Simply Come as you are, Step Forward and Shine!”
